This study evaluated the WISE Telehealth Network, which provided health services to women and gender-expansive people in rural South Carolina. Over one year, WISE reached 523 people, with 151 participating in the study. A Community Health Worker helped connect participants to telehealth services and local resources. Results showed that younger, married, and white participants were more likely to find telehealth useful. Overall, the program was highly rated for helping people get the medical care and resources they needed. The study suggests that telehealth can be effectively expanded by partnering with libraries in rural areas.
