This study looked at how well healthcare providers follow guidelines for managing preeclampsia and eclampsia. Over 1,200 providers from 63 medical universities participated. Most accessed the guidelines through printed books, medical websites, CDs, and brochures. General practitioners followed the guidelines better than midwives, obstetricians, and community health workers. Challenges included patient non-compliance, unclear guidelines, and lack of resources. To improve use, the guidelines should be easier to access, clearer, regularly updated, and adapted for different healthcare settings.
