This study looks at how Community Health Workers (CHWs) can help improve oral health in Africa, especially in areas with limited access to dental care. CHWs can teach communities about oral hygiene, provide basic care, and connect people to dentists. The study shows that CHW-led efforts are effective but need more training and support. It also highlights the important role the Africa CDC can play in promoting oral health by encouraging countries to include it in their health plans. Overall, the study suggests that using CHWs is a practical way to improve oral health across Africa.
