This study explored how community health workers (CHWs) in Nepal can help improve oral health care for people with type 2 diabetes. Interviews with CHWs, health workers, and policymakers showed that while oral health care is needed, especially for those with diabetes, there are big challenges, like lack of training, supplies, and clear policies. However, there’s a chance to fix these issues by training CHWs, giving them proper support, and creating better health policies. This could help bring oral health services into everyday health care in Nepal.
