by

Authors: Stephanie Santiago-Mejias, Shanae L Rhodes, Fayron R Epps, Robin C Hilsabeck, Noe Garza, Sudha Seshadri, Neela K Patel

This study trained 61 community health workers in Texas to improve their knowledge and confidence in supporting people with dementia. After the workshop, participants felt significantly more confident and better prepared to apply what they learned. The findings show that training CHWs can help close knowledge gaps and strengthen dementia care in underserved communities.
