by

This study evaluates the effectiveness of using culturally and linguistically appropriate community health workers (CHWs) to provide family health history (FHH)-based breast cancer education to Chinese Americans. Results show significant improvements in FHH collection, communication, and knowledge among participants immediately after and 3 months post-education. Additionally, a notable proportion of high-risk participants sought genetic evaluation within 3 months. The study highlights the potential of CHW-delivered FHH-based education in improving cancer prevention efforts among Chinese Americans, suggesting the need for further research in this area.
