This study explores the impact of an experiential learning program on community health workers’ (CHWs) health literacy and preventive behaviors regarding emerging and re-emerging respiratory diseases. Conducted in Ngao District, Lampang Province, Thailand, the program significantly improved CHWs’ health literacy and preventive behaviors compared to before the program. The findings underscore the importance of such training initiatives in enhancing CHWs’ effectiveness in disease prevention and control.
