This study looked at how communities in Orange County, California, worked together during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially with help from community health workers (CHWs). Through focus groups and interviews, residents shared how they faced many connected challenges, got support through CHWs, built strong community bonds, and worked together to push for better policies. The findings show the important role CHWs played in helping communities recover and highlight the need for more CHW support and resources to strengthen community resilience.
