To reduce cancer disparities, this study created a Texas certification program to train Chinese American community health workers (CHWs) in using family health history (FHH) for cancer prevention. The 160-hour program trained 46 CHWs, who provided FHH-based cancer prevention services to 1,129 Chinese Americans. This initiative helps build a skilled public health workforce and supports cancer prevention in the community.
