This study explored whether a digital app could improve the communication skills of community health workers (CHWs) to better support mothers and children in underserved areas of Islamabad. Researchers developed and tested “Sehat Ghar,” a video-based health education app, training 10 volunteer CHWs to use it. The CHWs showed significant improvement in their knowledge and effectively used the app to educate mothers. Both the CHWs and the community found the app helpful, suggesting it could be a cost-effective way to enhance health communication on a larger scale.
