This study developed and tested a kidney disease training program for community health workers serving Latino communities. Twelve participants completed a 20-hour course that included role play, problem-solving, and motivational interviewing. The training was well-received and increased knowledge, confidence, and motivation to educate others about kidney health. Future work will explore how this approach can improve long-term kidney care and support CHW workforce development.
