This study assessed the knowledge and performance of 200 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in Delhi. Most ASHAs were married women aged 40-49 with at least a higher secondary education. Nearly all (89%) had excellent knowledge and demonstrated exceptional performance in primary healthcare. However, there were gaps in awareness about specific programs like Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram (JSSK) scheme, early pregnancy care, and oral rehydration solution (ORS) preparation. Areas for improvement include better support for institutional deliveries, child health visits, adolescent nutrition, and treatment compliance for chronic diseases.
