This study examines the effectiveness of community health worker (CHW) support in facilitating COVID-19 home testing among Native American and Latino adults in rural areas. Results show that CHW assistance significantly improves test completion rates, especially among older adults. However, challenges such as limited technology literacy, language barriers, and transportation issues hinder testing accessibility. Manufacturers should address these barriers to make home-based testing more feasible for underserved communities. Partnering with community health programs for testing support could enhance uptake and improve health outcomes, particularly in rural areas. These findings provide valuable insights for reducing testing disparities and enhancing health equity in underserved rural communities.
