This study explored community opinions on foot care services provided by community health workers (CHWs) for people with diabetes in Indonesia. Interviews with patients, their families, CHWs, and healthcare professionals revealed that the intervention was generally accepted but faced some practical challenges, such as issues with community involvement and healthcare policies. Overall, the findings suggest that CHWs can play a valuable role in preventing diabetic foot ulcers, though there are some barriers to overcome for successful implementation.
