Community health workers (CHWs) are well-positioned to help reduce health inequities in the United States. Rodela and co-authors conducted a six-year community-academic partnership in the United States using qualitative methods to identify common CHW processes and outcome indicators. They identified 20 common constructs and suggest that a common set of indicators would help to further provide support for CHW in future initiatives.
