Community Health Workers and mHealth: adoption of strategies for the prevention of cervical cancer in Argentina

by

Authors: Victoria Sánchez Antelo, Melisa Paolino, Silvina Arrossi

This study explores Community Health Workers’ (CHWs) perceptions of a multicomponent mHealth intervention aimed at promoting triage cytology among HPV+ women. Using surveys and frameworks for evaluation, the study found that 78.3% of CHWs expressed intention to adopt the intervention, with higher adoption likelihood among those who perceived it as advantageous and easy to implement. Additionally, nearly all CHWs recognized the need for strategies to expand triage coverage. These findings suggest strong support for scaling up the intervention in the future.
