This study demonstrates how geographic optimization can improve community health programs in rural areas. Using mapping and route optimization tools, researchers planned efficient door-to-door visits by community health workers (CHWs) in Madagascar for mass health campaigns and regular case management. Results showed varying workloads for CHWs depending on location. An interactive e-health platform was also created to help teams plan resources, schedules, and routes. These tools can enhance healthcare delivery and align with WHO recommendations for better access to care in underserved areas.
