Community Health Clubs (CHCs) in the Lower Rio Grande Valley aimed to enhance caregivers’ understanding of neurocognitive conditions through a 10-week curriculum. Led by trained promotoras, sessions covered disorders like ADHD, ASD, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s, along with caregiving skills and available resources. Pre/post-surveys and focus groups showed significant knowledge gains and increased caregiver self-efficacy. The CHC model effectively empowered members to better support individuals with neurocognitive conditions and share knowledge within their communities.
