Lebanon’s healthcare system faces challenges due to crises, especially impacting vulnerable and refugee communities. To address this, the Mobile University for Health (MUH) program trained vulnerable women as community health workers (CHWs) through blended learning and communities of practice (CoP). Short-term data showed improved knowledge, while long-term evaluations revealed increased community empowerment and leadership skills among CHWs. Challenges included limited healthcare access and logistical issues. MUH effectively improved health knowledge and behaviors, emphasizing the importance of ongoing training and support for CHWs, particularly in conflict-affected areas.
