This study looked at burnout, motivation, and job satisfaction among community health workers (CHWs) in Madhya Pradesh, India. Surveys showed that 33% of CHWs experienced moderate or high burnout, especially from physical exhaustion, while pride in their work was a key motivator. Higher education was linked to higher motivation levels. These findings highlight the need to support CHWs’ well-being and manage stress to improve task-sharing programs in low-resource settings.
