This study explored how Persian Medicine (PM) could be integrated into Iran’s primary healthcare system. Interviews with community health workers and supervisors revealed key barriers: lack of PM tools, policy and structural challenges, difficulties in health education, and limited staff and motivation. Successful integration will need clear protocols, staff training, better health literacy, and stronger collaboration between PM and conventional medicine.
