This study examined what helps community health workers play a stronger role in reducing childhood stunting in one district of Indonesia. It found that community health workers who had received training, had stronger skills, and had worked for longer were more effective in supporting stunting prevention. The findings highlight the importance of providing regular training and building the skills of community health workers so they can better support children and families and help reduce malnutrition in their communities.
