Many people around the world need rehabilitation services, and Community Health Workers (CHWs) can help provide this care. This study looked at CHWs in one area of Dhaka, Bangladesh, to see what they know, how they feel, and what they do about rehabilitation services. The results showed that most CHWs had poor knowledge and did not practice rehabilitation well. However, most had a positive attitude toward providing these services. Age, education, job role, and experience were linked to their knowledge and actions. The study suggests that CHWs need more training to improve their knowledge and skills in rehabilitation. However, results may not reflect the whole country since the study was only done in one area and lacked a standard way to measure CHW knowledge and practice.
