This study looked at how well a community health worker-led program for improving health literacy worked for people with hypertension and diabetes in Harare, Zimbabwe. The program aimed to help these patients make lifestyle changes. Interviews with health workers and patients showed that while health workers and community nurses found the program very beneficial, patients had mixed opinions. Some challenges included patients resisting advice and lack of resources. Overall, everyone agreed that the program was acceptable and useful. This information can help improve and expand similar programs in the future.
