This pilot study tested a new program that uses both community health worker (CHW) support and mobile tools to help people with HIV stick to their medication. The program included an app, a smart pill bottle, and regular CHW check-ins, all done remotely. It was found to be easy to use and helpful, with some signs that it may improve medication use and help more people reach an undetectable viral load. Participants liked the flexibility of doing everything from home. More testing is needed, but this approach could help people with HIV, especially in underserved communities.
