This study looked at how HPV self-sampling for cervical cancer screening can work in Sikkim, India, with help from ASHA workers. Interviews with 20 ASHAs showed that home testing was convenient and well accepted by the community. ASHAs played a key role in educating and guiding women, and mobile phones helped with sharing results. Success depended on proper training, community trust, and support. Challenges included low health awareness, difficult working conditions for ASHAs, and low pay. To make the program work better, support is needed at personal, community, and government levels.
