This study looked at the experiences of community health workers (CHWs) in mental health roles in Southern California. Interviews with CHWs and their supervisors showed that many CHWs feel stressed due to unclear job roles and a lack of training and support. The study highlights the need for better guidance, supervision, and tools to help CHWs make informed decisions and succeed in their work.
