This study developed a mobile app that uses artificial intelligence to help community health volunteers in Thailand screen for oral cancer. The app was easy to use, worked well in identifying possible cases, and was well accepted by the volunteers. It helped bring screening closer to communities and could reduce delays in diagnosis. The study shows that simple digital tools can support health workers to detect diseases earlier in areas with limited access to specialists.
