This study evaluated a two-day pre-hospital trauma training program for community health responders (CHRs) in rural Nepal, aimed at improving care for injuries. Three months after the training, researchers interviewed 14 out of 35 participants from various backgrounds, including teachers and ambulance drivers. Participants reported that the training improved their skills, knowledge, and confidence in providing pre-hospital care. However, they faced challenges such as transportation to the training site, understanding medical terms, and accessing necessary supplies. They suggested refresher courses and improvements to training materials for better learning. Overall, the training was well-received, and the findings will help improve future programs for CHRs in resource-limited areas.
