Cambridge Health Alliance is offering a virtual Community Health Worker Training Course for this fall and winter for those living in Massachusetts at no cost. The goal of the CHW training program is to engage, train and empower people to improve the health of their communities. Meeting program requirements set by the Massachusetts Board of CHWs, this free training covers the core competencies outlined by the state. CHA’s training also includes Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing and more. The trainings will occur Tuesday and Thursdays from September 5- October 26, 2023 from 9am-1pm and on Saturdays from January 20-March 30 2024 from 9am-3pm. Register here. Find more information here.
