This study explored how community health workers in Indonesia measure children’s growth to assess nutrition and stunting. Discussions with health professionals and CHWs showed challenges like inconsistent measurement skills, uncalibrated equipment, and difficulties when children or mothers reacted emotionally. The study suggests regular training, better tools, and improved communication to make growth monitoring more accurate and child-friendly.
