This study looked at how well health systems across 199 countries can meet the needs of people with high blood pressure. It compared the number of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and community health workers available to how many patients need care. Results showed that all countries face major shortages if only doctors handle hypertension care. However, involving nurses and community health workers in team-based care could help close these gaps. The findings suggest that expanding teamwork, training, and health infrastructure is key to managing hypertension worldwide.
